The Toronto Flue School provides the highest quality instruction within a nurturing environment. Younger students take advantage of our Suzuki Program where parental guidance and support, and interaction with peers enhance and heighten the learning experience. Older students continue on in the Ensemble Program, learning to work independently by developing good practice habits and techniques. All students receive individual weekly lessons and biweekly group classes. The classes focus on improving reading and ensemble skills (when age and level appropriate) through flute choir arrangements of Suzuki repertoire, and classical, folk and popular music. Biannual ensemble/group concerts (featuring the school's bass, alto and Eb flutes and piccolo), solo recitals and workshops with guest teachers are also an integral part of our curriculum.
