Jesse Dietschi (B.Mus, M.Mus) studied double-bass at Brandon University, and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Performance. Subsequently, he earned a Masters of Music degree in Composition. From 2009 to 2011 Jesse acted as a sessional faculty member at Brandon University, and has also served as the Jazz Bass Instructor at the International Music Camp (International Peace Gardens, North Dakota, USA) since 2008. Jesse is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Jazz Performance at the University of Toronto. Prospective double bass or electric bass students, both beginner and advanced, are welcome to contact him regarding lessons.
